Trivia Devs

Where developers find, review, and rank the resources actually worth learning from

95% there

the problem

Developers drown in tutorials, courses, and docs of wildly uneven quality, and generic link aggregators can't tell them what is actually worth their time. Recommendations are scattered across Twitter threads, Discord servers, and stale blog listicles with no accountability behind them. Trivia Devs fixes this with a dedicated home for developer learning resources where every submission is reviewed, voted on, and ranked by a community whose influence is weighted by earned trust scores — so the signal rises and the noise sinks.

the vision

Become the default answer to "what should I use to learn X?" — for both humans and AI agents. Every resource on the platform carries real reviews from real developers, rankings resist gaming through trust-score weighting and anti-self-voting rules, and the same curated graph is exposed through an MCP server so AI assistants recommend from vetted community knowledge instead of hallucinated links. Long-term: boards, challenges, and collections make Trivia Devs the place where developer communities curate their own learning paths.

who it serves

Developers at every stage who want vetted learning resources instead of SEO spam: self-taught devs choosing their next course, seniors keeping up with new stacks, and team leads assembling onboarding paths. A second, growing audience is AI agents — via the MCP server, assistants like Claude can query the curated catalog and submit finds on behalf of their users.
